MURRELL RELEASED BY PATS PDF Print

The New England Patriots have released LB Marques Murrell.  The move was made on Monday to make room for OL Quinn Ojinnaka, who was serving a suspension to start the season. Murrell got off to a fast start before things went sour. He had one tackle in Sunday's season-opening win against Cincinnati. Murrell has played for three National Football League teams: the Patriots, the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Jets.

Corey Lynch is still a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he did not play in Sunday's season opener against the Cleveland Browns. The Bucs play the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte on Sunday. Our coverage begins at 12 noon on MIX 102.3 FM.
