Stephen Curry is making a strong pitch to land a spot on the USA National Team.

Curry made a modest statement on Saturday night during the Blue-White scrimmage game in Las Vegas. Curry poured in 14 points for the White team as they defeated the Blue team 114-96. Kevin Durant, who led the National Basketball Association in scoring this past season, paced the White and led all scorers with 28 points.
Derrick Rose of the Bulls, playing for the White, had 15 points; teammate Tyson Chandler had 13 points and nine rebounds.
The roster of 19 players will be trimmed down to 14 or 15 players by Monday. Training camp for the World Championships begins in New York August 10.
