A Wilkesboro man was killed just after midnight yesterday morning in the crash of his motorcycle in Winston-Salem.  Police there say Ricky Neal Myers, 51, the owner of Jokers Wild Tattoos on Central Street in Wilkesboro, was westbound on I-40 trying to merge onto US 421 when he skidded and ran off the road, hitting a patch of grass wet from evening rain.  He was thrown as the cycle skidded, and the Harley landed on top of him.  Myers was rushed to Wake Forest  University Baptist Hospital, transferred to intensive care, and died at about 5am undergoing emergency surgery.
