I am very happy to announce that Rusty is home safe and sound!!!
***Even though dogs have a great sense of smell...When there is snow and ice on the ground dogs have a harder time picking up their scent if they wander away from home.
I recommended that John put some unwashed clothing out to help Rusty find his way back home. John hung 2 t-shirts outside yesterday and Rusty found his way back home!!! He is a little thin, cold, dirty and hungry but other than that he is just fine!
Missing Jack Russell Terrier...We live in the Hopewell Church Road area @ one mile from 194. Rusty is a white Jack Russell with a brown head and rust colored specks on his back. He is typical Jack Russell and friendly. My cell # is 964-5911 and home # is 268-2839. Thanks, John Middlebrook
We don't know exactly when Rusty went out but it was sometime after 9:30PM Friday night. I think he snuck out when I went to jump start my tractor. Anyway he was not there Saturday morning when I went to let him out with our other dogs. He does not usually wonder unless he is with our other dogs it is very strange for him to do this. We have checked most of our neighbors but they have not seen him. Obviously we are very worried. Thanks you so much for your advise I will hang out some clothes today.
