alfred20fogel.jpgAvery County Sheriff Kevin Frye said his office arrested two residents on sexual offense charges.

Frye said 55-year-old Alfred Fogel, of Banner Elk, was arrested on June 5 because he failed to register as a sex offender.  Frye explained Fogel didn’t comply with the 10-day period to register a change of address as required by North Carolina Law.

Frye also said 25-year-old Manuel Sandobal was arrested on Saturday, June 13, with felony indecent liberties with a minor and possession of marijuana.
