New River L&P Asks Rate Reduction PDF Print

Some news to warm your chilly morning—New River Light & Power is requesting to reduce rates—albeit infinitesimally. Costs of fuels passed along to customers have been slightly less than estimated, causing the rate decrease request, a decrease that would drop most New River customer bills under a half dollar. The request was filed with the state utilities commission October 1st, and citizens have the right to file comments on the adjustment with the utilities commission on the matter.  The decrease would go into effect January 17th.
