Woman Airlifted after Jonas Ridge Crash PDF Print

A woman was airlifted after being ejected from her car as it overturned in a Saturday afternoon wreck.  The wreck occurred at about 3:30 on NC 181 near Jonas Ridge, the woman found outside her car crying when witnesses arrived on the down the embankment where her car landed. First arriving Avery Medics called for WINGS Air Rescue to land at Mountaineer Equipment just up from the crash site, and the woman was flown to the Johnson City Medical Center for treatment while the state patrol worked to determine the cause of the crash.
