With early voting underway, we’re two weeks away from the general election for municipalities across the High Country and state-wide. Watauga voters in the town limits of Beech Mountain, Blowing Rock, Boone and Seven Devils all are casting ballots, but Blowing Rock voters might want to put off your vote until after the Tuesday candidate forum, 6 to 9 at the Blowing Rock School auditorium.

Ashe County has municipal elections for the towns of Jefferson, West Jefferson and Lansing, while Avery voters cast ballots for candidates in Banner Elk, Crossnore, Elk Park, Grandfather Village, Newland and Sugar Mountain. The general election is 2 weeks off, November 5th.
