Embezzlement, Forgery at Car Dealership PDF Print

Wilkesboro Police are investigating the possible embezzlement of some $9000 from a local car dealership.  The crime occurred sometime between mid July and August 30th at Wilkes Nissan, where company officials told police that they discovered a monetary discrepancy in a car sale, then found that paperwork in the transaction had a forged signature. The buyer told company officials and police that he gave a $9000 down payment on the vehicle, and that apparently did not show up on the second set of paperwork filed at the dealership.  The contract the buyer produced was totally different, including the signature. Police have a suspect listed in the report, but so far, no arrest is listed by police.
