Crimestoppers: Second Verizon Store Hit PDF Print

For the second time this month, a local Verizon store has been hit, this time in an overnight burglary.  Boone Police issued a Crimestoppers alert  after the 2:15 a.m. an alarm came in to Boone Police, the call from the Verizon Wireless store at 246 Wilson Drive. Officers arrived to found that entry had been gained by breaking the front door glass of the business, and that an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise were reported to have been stolen.  It came less than two weeks from the Verizon store on US 421 at the Gateway center being smashed by a car—the suspect in that still sought. Anyone with information on this crime or any other crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 828-268-6959 / 828-737-0125 or the Boone Police Department at 828-268-6900.  All information will be kept confidential.
