Two Ashe county residents were injured in a crash last night just north of West Jefferson. The state patrol says that the wreck occurred at about 9:30 as Joshua Maine, 25, of Creston, lost control of the ’94 Subaru Justy he was driving toward Radio Hill on NC 194, the car crashing into a ditch and flipping. Maine’s passenger, 24-year old Eden Gustavsen, was ejected from the car in the crash, but neither were badly hurt as the speed was not excessive.  Both were taken to Ashe Memorial for treatment, while Joshua Maine was cited for Reckless Driving.
