An internal Tyson Foods investigation has led to a Wilkes County man being arrested early this morning on charges of selling prescription drugs on the job.  Just before 5:30 this morning, Wilkesboro Police were called by Tyson corporate security looking into reports of drugs sold there, and said that the employee they were questioning voluntarily produced bottles of prescription meds that they allege he was selling at the Wilkesboro facility.  The report said that none of the pill bottles had the name of the suspect, leading to three charges of Possession of Schedule 2 Controlled Substance ; Morphine, Oxycodone, and Suboxone.  Terry Dean Mitchell of Millers Creek was taken by police to the magistrate’s office, the 45-year old set a $5000 bond in the three counts.
