Meth Lab Debris Found in Meat Camp PDF Print

Last Friday April 27th, Watauga County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Unit personnel responded to an area of Meat Camp rd. in Todd, NC where a NC DOT road crew had located what they thought were the remnants of a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory. After responding to the dumpsite, Detectives were able to confirm the items were consistent with those used to manufacture methamphetamine. The items were seized, secured and disposed of in accordance with OSHA regulations. The investigation is still ongoing and arrests are expected.
