The Wilkes Sheriff’s Office charged three people in connection with the theft of about $1,000 in change from the home of the priest of St. John’s Catholic Church near North Wilkesboro while the priest was at Easter Sunday mass.

On Tuesday March 29th, 2016, Jennifer Nicole Willis, 38, of Vilas, NC, plead guilty to one count of Felony Death by Vehicle and four counts of Felony Serious Injury by Vehicle.
