It's official- it's a hung jury in the first-degree murder trial of Sawmills dairy farmer Jerry Anderson.
Judge David S. Cayer declared a mistrial after jurors once again said a unanimous verdict could not be reached. While a poll indicated a 10-2 split, jurors were not allowed to disclose the split's nature.
Anderson is accused of fatally shooting his wife, Emily Anderson in December of 2005. If convicted, he could face the death penalty.
