It’s a busy atmosphere right now at Ashe County High School.

Volunteers are preparing for tonight’s Relay for Life. According to Deanna Lewis, there’s already a good turnout.

Relay for Life supports the fight for a cure for cancer- a cause that is near and dear to volunteers’ hearts. Volunteers anticipate a successful event.

Lewis says the goal is to raise $77,000- and she's ready to "blow that goal out of the water."

The Relay starts at 6 p.m.
