Written by Lauren Ohnesorge

A Wilkes boy gets to meet Mickey this fall, thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

9-year-old Jesse Roten has suffered from congenital central hypoventilation syndrome and Hirscbrungs disease since birth. The boy, his family and his nurse are traveling to Disney World in Florida, thanks to the Foundation. Meals, transportation and hotel rooms are included. Make-A-Wish has been in operation since 1980, helping children with life-threatening medical conditions grant wishes.
