In other ASU news, the school announced this week that they are the recipient of a $1 million dollar gift. Ron Harper of Charlotte made the gift to support the flexography program, scholarships and other needs in the Dept. of Technology.

Flexography is a method of printing using photography and laser engraving. It is most often used in creating packaging. The Harpers founded the Harper Corp., which supplies important components in that industry. Ron Harper made the gift in honor of his wife, Katherine and, as part of the gift, Appalachian will dedicate part of Kerr Scott Hall in her name.
