Lora Elizabeth WalkerWatauga County Sheriff’s Office deputies say they have another drug dealer in custody.

20-year-old Lora Elizabeth Walker of Deep Gap faces 30 charges, including selling and delivering cocaine, thanks to an undercover operation in the parking lot of Ingles Food in Boone on September 29. 4.5 ounces of cocaine were seized from Walker last week, and a total of 6.1 ounces over the course of the three-week operation. Deputies estimate the street value of the recovered drugs exceeds $17,000. Walker is alleged to have utilized juvenile accomplices from Watauga High School who were also involved in the conspiracy. Two of the juveniles are currently in custody. Walker is being held on an $180,000 bond. Watauga County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the incident.
