FBI investigates Caldwell suspects PDF Print
Thursday, 13 September 2007 20:18

The Federal Bureau of Investigations is still attempting to piece together exactly what happened to pharmacies in Ohio and Texas.

At least two drug stores were robbed when two armed suspects arrived. A clerk in one drug store was “pistol-whipped,” police say.

A fingerprint discovered at one of the robberies brought federal authorities to Caldwell County.

Matthew Triplet and Roy Jacob Blair, both of the Hartland Community near Lenoir, are alleged to have rented cars and driven over a thousand miles to steal Oxycodine. Both were arrested early yesterday- and both are being held on a $300,000 secured bond. A search of the suspects’ Caldwell residence yielded not only Oxycodine, but also several weapons. The suspects will be extradited to Ohio and Texas.
