Kidfest hits Grandfather PDF Print

<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> Kidfest is September 8 on Grandfather Mountain, and it’s filled with fun educational activities.
The event, hosted by the Grandfather Mountain Naturalist staff, is meant to get kids excited about the nature and culture of the North Carolina Mountains. The day begins at 9 a.m. with a guided hike with naturalist Jesse Pope. Animal Habitat staff will be activities at the wildlife habitats. Kids will be exposed to everything from bird experts to face painting. Story teller Glen Bollick will even be on hand to keep kids laughing. Park representatives say get there early- the first 250 kids to arrive will receive an activity packet. Kidfest is included as part of regular park admission.
