Boone still watching water PDF Print
Wednesday, 29 August 2007 21:26

While rainfall over the past few days has helped the shortage situation in Boone- it’s still time for conservation, public utilities director Rick Millers says.

There hasn’t been nearly enough rain to back away from Stage one conditions, and Miller is still checking the levels every day.

The conditions are voluntary- but that may change without significant rainfall.

Citizens are being asked to limit landscape watering and carwashes, take shorter showers, wait for a full load before using a dishwasher or clotheswasher and flush toilets less.
