University Nissan theft: Arrest made PDF Print
Friday, 24 August 2007 12:16
Boone Police say they know who’s responsible for the theft of a 2003 Nissan truck, taken from University Nissan on August 9th.
Police today charged 24-year-old Matthew David Taylor of Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee with one count of larceny of a motor vehicle. Officers allege that Taylor and another person had asked to test drive the truck and, while the salesperson went inside the store to obtain a test drive permit, drove away in the truck. The truck was recovered in Mountain City on August 11. Taylor has been placed on a $5,000 bond.
