According to Assistant Superintendent Bob Tatum, Avery County High School has gone through some summer changes.
The summer renovation project ended yesterday- just in time for kids to return next week. A new office area, cafeteria, guidance center, as well as new wiring and lighting, are some of the highlights.
Avery County Middle School’s sewage system was also hooked up to the Avery County High School line.
Tatum could not be more pleased with the progress.
School starts next week, and Avery County School officials hope students like what they see at the High School.
