Four lane gets help from DOT PDF Print
Monday, 13 August 2007 20:00
The four lane highway that goes past Mountain View Shopping Center in Ashe County is about to get a DOT-funded makeover.
The condition of the road from the traffic light to the N.C. hwy 16 intersection has motorists on edge. In fact, the two outer lanes were almost stripped of pavement- and have remained stripped for weeks without new pavement to cover the surface. DOT officials say that work will be done on the area for the next two weeks, and they appreciate residents’ patience.
