A recent string of break-ins in Johnson County have
sheriff’s deputies on alert.
The break-ins have occurred in the past two weeks
on Hawkins Road and Dry Branch Road. Miller Road, Pleasant Valley Road and Gate
Hollow Road have all been affected in Mountain City. Items allegedly stolen
include four wheelers, jewelry, guns and money. Officials within Johnson County
Sheriff’s Office indicate the crimes could be related. Anyone with information
is urged to contact law enforcement.
