Prepare yourselves: The freshmen are coming! PDF Print
Wednesday, 01 August 2007 20:00

While the last day of summer session at ASU is Friday, it’s already time to start thinking about Fall semester.

Out of almost 13,000 applications for the fall freshman class at Appalachian State University, 2,775 were chosen- and move in is August 17. While move-in is expected to last all day, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., university officials say they have taken every possible measure to speed the move-in process- not only to ease parent anxieties, but also to reduce the impact the high traffic volume will have on the Boone community. More than 1,000 volunteers have been recruited to help freshmen unload their family’s vehicle and carry belongings to residence halls. Classes at ASU begin August 21.
