Horn in the West: State budget helps the show go on! PDF Print
Tuesday, 31 July 2007 20:00

There’s still time to see acclaimed outdoor drama Horn in the West, a tradition that will continue next year, thanks to the state budget.

The show will receive $25,000 this fiscal year for operating costs- and it’s appreciated by those involved, including co-music director Josh Howard.

He believes it's more money than the show received from the state last year.

After all: the show is more than just a tradition in the High Country.

It's about the history of Watauga and surrounding areas, he says.

The show is open nightly, Tuesday through Sunday at 8 p.m. until August 11. For ticket information, call (828) 264-2120.
