Patrol car sustains 'light damage' in chase PDF Print
Monday, 30 July 2007 07:05
A police chase in North Wilkesboro Saturday night left a patrol car with "light damage," a source from North Wilkesboro Police Department said. The suspect, 35-year-old Robert Daniel Colbert, went left of center, alerting a patrol officer to the possibility of drunken driving. When the officer attempted to stop Colbert, he drove away, instigating a chase that led to the minor patrol car accident. While Colbert wasn't drunk, he was driving on a revoked license. The incident happened around 10:50 Saturday night.
