Sunday Morning Road Condition Check PDF Print
Written by Adam Hicks
Sunday, 07 February 2010 02:01

For the most part, road conditions are continuing to improve around the region after the latest winter storm.

High Country Radio spoke with representatives from the Ashe, Avery, and Watauga County Sheriff’s Office this morning and as of 8:00, no wrecks have been reported since daybreak.

Law enforcement said primary roads are mostly clear with patches of snow and black ice, but most secondary roads are still icy.  If you have to drive this morning, do so with extreme caution.
