Appalachian State University Police are still looking for information on a sexual battery that happened near Trivette Hall last week.

Chief Gunther Doerr says the investigation is ongoing.

His office is still hoping someone will come forward with a tip that will lead to a suspect.

According to victim’s statements, an unknown black male is alleged to have grabbed a female’s arm, waist and buttocks when she walked out of Trivette Hall. The man is described to have a medium skin tone and was wearing an orange Polo shirt and blue jeans. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Crimestoppers at 828-262-4555.
