Three Parkway Students Chosen for NC Honors Chorus PDF Print

honors_chorus.jpgThree Parkway School students were selected to participate in the North Carolina Honors Chorus.


According to school officials, sixth graders Callie Idol and Tristin Derrick were chosen for the North Carolina Elementary Honors Chorus, while eighth grader Megan Jackson was selected for the North Carolina Middle School Honors Chorus.

The elementary honors chorus is made up 150 students across the state.

Megan Jackson, the eighth grader, auditioned for the North Carolina Middle School Honors Chorus in Hickory and was selected from among 1,000 students.

Honors Chorus students will perform at the North Carolina Music Educators Association Conference in Winston-Salem next month.
