Fall Fashion Show at Boone Belk to Raise Money for Breast Cancer PDF Print

Belk at the Boone Mall will be hosting a Fall Glamour Night on Thursday as a fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

 

According to Melanie Marshall at the Watauga Democrat, Estee Lauder is also helping with the fundraiser.

The event will include cosmetic displays, door prizes, special sales, and a fashion show. 

Several local residents will serve as models in the fashion show.  Sherrie Norris and Jennifer Walker of All About Women magazine, Melanie Marshall of the Watauga Democrat, Karen Petrey, a community advocate who volunteers for several local organizations, Matthew Crawford of the Boone Fire Department, Michael Vollmer, manager of Mokoto’s, and High Country Radio’s news director, Adam Hicks, will all serve as fashion models.  Natalie and Elizabeth Noble, and two-year-old Karsyn Lee will also be modeling children’s clothes.

MTN news anchor Christina Cindrich will be emceeing the event.

There will be two fashion runs on Thursday.  The first will be held at 5:30 and the second around 7:15.

This event is free and open to the public.  Refreshments will also be available throughout the evening.
