Authorities in Burke County are looking for the man who tried to rob the BB&T bank in Hildebran on Friday afternoon.
According to our Foothills Bureau, a white male in his 40’s walked into the bank around 1:00 and handed the teller a note demanding money or the teller would be the first to face harm.
The teller then reportedly handed the man money that contained a dye pack, but when the suspect saw the dye pack he put the money back down and left the bank without the cash.
Authorities say the found a few articles of clothing they believe the man wore during the robbery attempt.
