bucket.jpgAvery and Watauga High School will face one another on the gridiron tonight for the 42nd time.

The Vikings and Pioneers will once again settle their differences on the field to find out who gets to keep the WECR Golden Bucket this year.

Watauga has won the last three meetings and leads the overall series with a 29-11-1 record against the Vikings.

Kickoff is at 7:30 tonight at Avery High School’s MacDonald Stadium.

Residents can catch Watauga High’s broadcast as Mike Kelly and Klay Anderson bring you all the action live tonight on Oldies 100.7.  Viking fans can listen to a tape-delayed broadcast of the game from Jamie Shell and Phillip Greene of Avery High’s broadcast team tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 on Glory 1130 AM.
