Officials at Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro have removed a Taylorsville woman from attending classes after You Tube video.
Kristy Hammonds,31, and 32 year old co-worker Michael Anthony Setzer's video showing them tampering with food at a Conover Domino's Pizza has now lead to Hammonds removal at Wilkes Community College as a student.
The video became widespread on You Tube earlier this year, and has now lead to the discovery that Hammonds is a registered sex offender.
WCC officials told Hammonds on Tuesday that she could not attend the school anymore because of that status. Her record shows that Hammonds had a relationship several years ago with a girl who said she was 19, but actually was 14 according to Charlotte television station WCNC.
The video shows a number of sanitation laws being broken which lead to the distributing tainted food charge against Hammonds. She is scheduled to appear in court next Tuesday in Catawba County.
A news release by Wilkes Community College said they took the action to comply with the Jessica Lunsford Act.
That act bans registered sex offenders from “any place where minors gather for regularly scheduled educational, recreational or social programs.”
