Rangers at the Blue Ridge Parkway have several free events scheduled for this week.
Friday evening at 7:30, rangers will teach residents about the incredible 2,000-mile migration of the monarch butterflies. This program will last about 40 minutes and will be held at the Julian Price Park Amphitheater.
Bluegrass band, Never Too Late, will perform for free on Saturday evening at 7:00 at the Julian Price Park Amphitheater. This concert will last about 45-minutes.
