Rangers at the Blue Ridge Parkway have several free events scheduled for this week.

The Junior Rangers will meet at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the Julian Price picnic area to discuss food webs. This event is expected to last about 40 minutes.
Rangers will also lead a program all about hummingbirds on Friday night at 8:30. This 40-minute program is called For the Love of Hummingbirds and will be held at the Julian Price Amphitheater.
The gospel group, The Reeds, will be performing at the Julian Price Amphitheater on Saturday evening at 7:00.
Rangers will also lead another 2-mile hike to Moses and Bertha Cone’s cemetery on Sunday night at 8:00. This hike will last about an hour and a half and will begin at the Cone Manor’s porch.
