While employees at Boone Regal Cinemas couldn’t officially speak to the media without permission from their corporate offices, several moviegoers have told High Country Radio last night’s premiere of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Price was sold out in all five theatres.

The movie had two show times last night, one at midnight and one at 12:20.  The line reportedly wrapped around to the back of the theatre.

One moviegoer told High Country Radio he was able to squeeze into the last showing of the movie, while there were still residents lined up behind him.

An employee at the Boone Regal Cinema was able to share that the five theatres hold anywhere from 173 to 245 people.

Did you stay up late to watch the sixth installment of the Harry Potter movie franchise?  How was it?  If you have pictures of the crowd, please e-mail them to us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
