Two employees at the Domino’s Pizza franchise in Conover have been fired and have had arrest warrants issued against them after posting videos online showing one of the employees sticking ingredients up his nose, sneezing on the food, and taking part in other non-sanitary actions.
According to Consumerist.com, the videos were posted on YouTube under the username, “WhiteAir2.” The account has since been closed.
Consumerist reported the two were tracked down to their franchise location in Conover by one of the website’s viewers. After the reader tracked the restaurant’s location, they called the store directly to alert the manager and sent a link to the video to Domino’s corporate office.
WXII reports after the two were fired, Conover police issued arrest warrants for the former employees, and Domino’s Pizza has indicated they will pursue criminal and legal action against them.
WXII also reports the two claimed the videos were simply pranks and that the food was not served to customers.
While the names of the former employees have not officially been released, in the video, they are referred to as Michael and Kristy.
