An Ashe County Commissioner, subject of controversy over a lawsuit against county and court officials over a car repossession, is now charged with breaking into his former residence, recently foreclosed upon.  Sheriff Ashe James Williams reported that on June 13th, his department served the foreclosure papers at Gerald Price’s Bronze Turkey Lane Zionville home, reporting that lien holder SunTrust had the locks changed immediately after the foreclosure. But Williams said that when bank officials returned, they could not gain entry.  They believed someone was living in the residence, and filed a break-in and damage to property report with the Ashe Sheriff’s Office.  Sheriff Williams said that his deputies went to the Zionville residence and there arrested William Gerald Price on felony Breaking and Entering, and that Price was released under a $10,000 bond with a court date tomorrow.
