Feds, Lenoir Police Arrest Morganton Woman PDF Print

Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office along with Lenoir Police Department yesterday assisted the United States Marshals Service in serving a warrant for armed robbery, the warrant from an incident that occurred in Burke County several weeks ago.  Information gathered led officers to 107 Forest Hill Dr. in Lenoir where officers entered the residence and found the suspect.  Meredith Leigh Michaux was taken into custody without incident, but a further search of the area led to the discovery of a large amount of crack cocaine along with a firearm. Meredith Leigh Michaux, a Black Female, 25, of 202 La Foret Dr. Morganton, was served with counts of  , Felony trafficking in Cocaine, Felony Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon Hit and Run with Property Damage.  Michaux has secure bonds totaling $201,000.00 and she is incarcerated in the Caldwell County Detention Center.
