Ashe Residents Charged After Drug Raid PDF Print

Ashe County Sheriff James Williams announces the arrest of two Ashe county people on felony drug charges following a raid on June 5, 2014 by the Sheriff’s narcotic division.  The raid was at 186 Bower Calloway Road in Jefferson .  Arrested at the scene were William Duncan age 30, and Ashley Bledsoe age 25. Both were living at 186 Bower Calloway Road. Deputies found three meth labs in the home. One active and two old labs. Duncan was charged with the manufacture of methamphetamine, felony conspiracy, maintain a dwelling place, possession of meth, possession with the intent to sell and deliver meth, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia. His bond was set at $500,500 secured. Bledsoe was charged with the manufacture of methamphetamine, felony conspiracy, possession of schedule IV, and possession of paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $150,500 secured. Both Duncan and Bledsoe remain in the Ashe County Detention Center.  Sheriff Williams advises this is the second methamphetamine lab that has been seized from this residence since 2009.
