Two Watauga High students were arrested a week ago on drug charges, the arrests made at the school, according to Boone Police activity logs.  The sequence recorded in the police documents show that police investigated both drug and weapons violations on the campus at 10:30 the morning of May 28th, and on the same occurrence code, two 16-year olds were charged; Justin Alan Greer with Drug Violations of Possession of a Schedule II drug and Conspiracy to Sell or Deliver a Schedule II drug.  And Kenan Thomas Foxx was charged with Sell or Delivery of Schedule II—each teen set $5000 bonds at the magistrate’s office later that afternoon.  Both teens were listed as on Watauga sports teams.  Contacting the Watauga County School office, Marshall Ashcraft responded, “We are prohibited by law from disclosing information about students alleged to be involved in legal or disciplinary matters.”  Boone Police Chief Dana Crawford said such charges customarily do not cause the issuance of any release on the arrests.
