Ashe Man Charged in Watauga Gun Deal PDF Print

Last Thursday, Detectives from the Watauga County Sheriff’s Office reports they conducted an undercover operation for the purchase of a firearm by a convicted felon.  In that, Shaun Charles Dehaven, said to be a convicted felon, arranged for a rifle to be sold to an undercover officer. Dehaven, 30, of 157 Dollar Road, Warrensville, was charged with Possession of a Firearm by Felon.  Dehaven was taken to the Watauga County Detention Facility and set a $20,000 secured bond.  He is scheduled to appear in District Court on May 14th.
