The Watauga County Sheriff's Office is seeking information through High Country Crime Stoppers in the disappearance of a car, last seen stopped on US 421 just east of Boone, left stranded there in a March snowstorm. The Sheriffs Office is looking for the black 1993 Nissan Sentra two-door that was parked on the side of U.S. Highway 421 South in front of Mountain Home and Hearth Thursday, March 27th in the snowstorm. The owner returned to pick the vehicle up on Saturday, March 29th to find it was not there. The vehicle has a North Carolina License plate of CEW-8339, and also had a Martin guitar sticker and an Espresso News sticker in the back window.
