Lenoir Trio Arrested in Drug Sweep PDF Print

Tuesday just after 5:30 pm, the Lenoir Police Department Narcotics Unit and their Special Response Team, aided by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, executed a search warrant at 304 Hillside Street in Lenoir.  Inside the residence, officers say they located and seized .2 grams of crack cocaine, 8 dosage units of Hydrocodone, and 5 grams of Marijuana, drugs valued at  $400.00.  Also seized inside was $372.00 in cash.  Kim Antwon Walton, 46, and 37-year old Gerard Andre Caldwell, both listing 304 Hillside as their address, were charged with Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell or Distribute Cocaine, Maintaining a Dwelling for Keeping a Controlled Substance, and the Manufacture of Cocaine, Walton also charged with Possession of Marijuana.  Each was set $75,000 bond. Melissa Hope Watson, 26,  was found inside the residence and was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Burke County for Failure to Appear on a Drug Possession charge. She was set a $3000 bond. Lenoir Police said these arrests came as a direct result of community complaints and several months of investigation.
