A two-vehicle wreck tied up ‘going home’ traffic on NC 105 late this afternoon, with two injuries reported.  The crash occurred just before 5pm  just north of the NC 105 bypass intersection in front of New River Building Supply, a white van and a silver-blue sedan colliding front-to-front.  Watauga Medics responded two ambulances, one first turned away as the patient refused transport, then returning to transport the patient.  Boone Police and Boone Fire both worked to try to maintain traffic through the wreck scene, awaiting the State Patrol to work the wreck.  Traffic backed up nearly to US 321 outbound on NC 105.
