Ashe Sheriff James Williams reports that the Ashe County Sheriff's Office has completed a larceny investigation that resulted in charges on three Kannapolis men.  On November 15th, 2013 a report was made on a break-in at a residence on Curly Q Road in Crumpler in which numerous guns were taken long with money, copper and several personal items. In January, Kannapolis Police conducted a traffic stop with the individuals and discovered some of the items from the larceny. During further investigation from the Ashe County Sheriff's Office, three males from Kannapolis, NC were charged.  Dustin Adam Barbee was charged with 2nd Degree Burglary of an Unoccupied Dwelling and Larceny of Property or Goods. Barbee has been arrested by Concord Police Department. Rodney Albert Shearer Jr. was charged with 2nd Degree Burglary of an Unoccupied Dwelling and Larceny of Property or Goods. Shearer has been arrested by the Iredell County Sheriff's Office. Zachary Aaron Lynch was charged with 2nd Degree Burglary of an Unoccupied Dwelling and Larceny of Property or Goods.
