Banner Elk Man Charged With Causing Crash PDF Print

A Banner Elk, man was charged Sunday with police saying he caused a vehicle crash by intentionally slamming on his brakes several times, according to the Johnson City Police.  22-year old William Clinton Railing of 2415 Kellersville Road, was charged with four counts of felony reckless endangerment and taken to the Washington County Detention Center, where he was held in lieu of $25,000 bond. Police say in the release that Railing slammed his brakes several times, finally causing the vehicle behind his to crash into the rear of his vehicle. William Clinton Railing is scheduled to appear in Sessions Court on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
